Mit den Auszeichnungen der »Critics Choice Awards« am 4. Januar 2026 in Santa Monica, Kalifornien wurde die diesjährige Saison der Filmauszeichnungen, die wie immer am Ende mit den OSCARS^® ihren Höhepunkt erreicht, eingeläutet.



Als Gewinner in den wichtigsten Kate­gorien ist der Film "One Battle After Another" von US-Regisseur Paul Thomas Anderson der große Abräumer der Critics Choice Awards. Der Politthriller mit Leonardo DiCaprio in der Hauptrolle machte neben der Auszeichnung als bes­ter Film auch in den Kategorien beste Regie und bestes adaptiertes Drehbuch bei den US-Kritikerpreisen das Rennen.

Als bester Film-Hauptdarsteller gewann aber nicht der dafür nominierte Leonardo DiCaprio, sondern Timothée Chalamet für seine Rolle in "Marty Supreme".

Inzwischen hat auch Hollywoods-Schauspielerverband, der im letzten Jahr sein 30. Jubiläum feierte und seit diesem Jahr sich nur noch "The Actorsawards" nennt, seine Nominierungen bekannt gegeben und die Filme "One Battle After Another" und "Blood & Sinners" mit den meisten No­minierungen für ihre Preise bedacht.

Der Politthriller von Paul Thomas Anderson mit Leonardo DiCaprio im Morgenmantel hat sieben Chancen auf einen Preis, während das Vam­pir-Drama von Ryan Coogler im Verleih von Warner Bros. fünffach nominiert ist.
